Christian Guerrero is a versatile and experienced Latin entertainer, renowned for his showmanship skills and bilingual musical repertoire. His performance style ranges from Jazz Standards to Latin Pop tunes. Christian has been part of the NSW Cabaret circuit for many years and is the founder and lead singer of the multi-award winning "Salsa Kingz Band".

Christian is a true showman in his field possessing the rare ability and feel for Show Business that has earned him the position as one of Australia's leading Latin entertainers. His charismatic personality and natural showmanship skills provides him the unique ability to engage audiences from all walks of life both as a “performer” and as a “Master of Ceremonies”

Christian can seamlessly double up as your official Master of Ceremonies whilst also including a surprise performance as a solo singer. Christian Guerrero is a self-contained show and can easily be adapted to any event.

Available with optional dancers & LIVE band, or he can simply perform as a soloist with just backing tracks (however a DJ is recommended).

PRICING & BOOKINGS

Christian Guerrero has been passionate about showbusiness from a very young age. Together with his sisters, he would sing and dance at many family events. By the age of 10, Christian was developing his craft in school productions and on weekends as a Latin folklore dancer in the Chilean community.

Christian eventually discovered his passion for live music when he joined the high-school brass band in 1986. The following year he joined his first Rock band, but it wasn't until 1990 where he landed his first professional gig performing on weekends with a local Sydney based band by the name of "Piña Colada" (pictured below).

In 1991 Christian went on to join the Sydney based Latin band Sonora Galaxia. This is where Christian would call home for 11 years, staying on as a trumpet player, trombonist and eventually gravitating to backing-vocals, MC, and lead vocals. By the time Christian was 19, he was invited to lead the band, becoming the youngest musical director and band leader in the band's history.

During his time with Sonora Galaxia, he would travel and perform on stages all over Australia including The Millennium NYE 2000 Concert at The Sydney Opera House and also the closing ceremony afterparty of the Sydney 2000 Olympics (The Sydney Domain featured below).

In 2001 Christian was headhunted to join the NSW Club Cabaret circuit under the Sydney based agency Jupiter Entertainment Pty. Ltd. (formerly Six Pak Productions). His experience as a cabaret singer would eventually catapult him to the Frontman & Showman that he is today. During his time as a cabaret singer, he performed a string of successful productions shows at venues all over Australia and the Pacific Islands.

In 2004 Christian officially launched his own band the Salsa Kingz®, with the aim of creating a more commercial and versatile showband. In 2008 Christian & Salsa Kingz started making waves in the industry and took nominations for "best showband" in 2008, 2009, 2010, & 2011. It wasn't until 2014 & 2015 when they finally won the "Australian Club Entertainment AWARDS" for "BEST SHOWBAND" two years in a row.

When the music stopped during the Lockdowns of 2020, Christian made an improv announcement and a commitment to keep entertaining fans at home through a brand-new initiative: It was his very own LIVESTREAM PODCAST made in the style of a late-night TV show. The show went LIVE and aired at the beginning of the Sydney Lockdowns at 8PM on a Saturday night, 28th March 2020. It ran for 10 consecutive weeks with many fans tuning in week after week until the lockdowns eased on the 1st June 2020.

In 2021 during the second lockdowns, Christian & his sister Lilian kept audiences entertained once again with a second interactive TV show this time called VIVA EL LUNES. This time audiences could chat & interact LIVE via the NEW chat system directly to their TV hosts. They would say hello and request their favourite songs LIVE on air. The weekly Monday night show was met with great reviews and won many adoring fans once again.

Today, Christian is coming back with a BRAND-NEW SHOW to a stage near you. He hopes to inspire audiences from all walks of life to experience the magic & passion of Latin music.
